Mission
"Economic prosperity comes from the individual's mind", Professor Chandler, Cited by U.S. Consulate General in Yekaterinburg, Russia.
The future economic security of the citizens of the world depends largely upon global trade in goods and services. All trade includes the transfer of intellectual property. Thus the intellectual property components of all services and all goods flow in international commerce. It is our mission to provide people with knowledge to build a global intellectual property system that will secure to the creator and owners of intellectual property, the rights and benefits of ownership.
Economic Espionage Act
Professor James P. Chandler is the original author of the Economic Espionage Act of 1996 (EEA) and worked closely with the Executive and Legislative Branches of the U.S. Government in support of the enactment of this legislation. He is frequently consulted by the U.S. Government, legal community, and private industry in the fields of economic espionage, intellectual property, and information and systems security issues arising from the use of computer technologies.
